Absolutely horrible experience! Our Agent was Ashley Pressley and she worked closely with Karl McMillan(the broker in charge), I assume because she was new. Both dodged questions with the old "I'll get back to you on that", and of course, they never did. We caught them lying to us more times than we can count, just to keep us from backing out of what we now know was a very bad deal. My husband and I had never sold a home before, and we got reamed thanks to Re/Max. They didn't care about us(their clients!) in any way, all they wanted was the commission. I learned all I now know about selling a home from Google! Run from this agency and find one that will treat you as a valuable client, and person, and actually help you through the process. I'm sure there are some agents out there like that, but not at Re/Max Aiken!!
Best realestate company in Aiken! I called several other companies trying to find an agent to help my mother who was relocating find a home within her fixed income and some wouldn't even return the call. Finding a home can be very difficult when you move to a new state, are older, and have recently lost a husband. My mother was also adjusting, downsizing and looking for a place she could call home again that was within her budget. Well let me tell you, the Tattersall group searched high and low. This group is not driven by how much money they are going to make by selling or finding you a home but rather doing what is right for their customer. Tad Barber is amazing, because he is involved in the entire process and provides personalized service. He returns calls, emails and is easy to get a hold of. His knowledge and experience is just hard to find these days. My mother was treated like she was purchasing a million dollar home even though she wasn't. Most realtors would have given up because finding a decent home in the price range we were looking for was a needle in the haystack. Not Tad, he looked tirelessly until he found that home and never gave up. Well not only did he find my mom a home but he went above and beyond what anyone would have ever expected! He stuck with us through the whole process, emotions and all. This agency cares about people and cares about its clients and it comes from the top down. So if you are looking for a company that will take care of you and stick with you this is the one. Don't even waste your time looking around. Tad and his agency provides outstanding service, is hardworking, caring, experienced, never tires, has a strong character and truly was a Godsend for us. So grateful and thankful we found the Tattersall group and especially Tad!
