Could be a nice store but it is not. The guys in the meat market prefer to chat with each other even after having made eye contact with customers needing service. The $2.99 chicken special they turns pretty expensive when the chicken is not fresh. Never had an issue with the ground chuck special. Management notified of problems with the meat market have not resulted in any improvement. I recommend Publix with great customer service and good selection.
I love the deli case here. And for thanksgiving they have some special dishes available...I bought some sweet potato souffle there a few days ago that I have been craving to go back for ever since! The coffee is also fantastic.
Clean, well-organized aisles; fully-stocked shelves; wide array of common and unique offerings. Friendly, courteous staff. I have never had an unpleasant experience at the Aiken Fresh Market, and I'm in there enough to know. Fresh and tasty salads and hot food selections at fair prices seal the deal for me.
If you're expecting a Whole Foods here, don't. This is just a gormet grocery store with limited brands.
The guys in the near and seafood department were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely go to them for all my future special occasion needs.
This is a feel good grocery store that's shooting for the whole foods look. Lots of European foods and a good selection of fresh made dinner options, but I was disappointed by the lack of organics outside the produce section.
