The customer service level was off the charts!! There was someone in the department that was attentive to my presence and more than willing to assist!

I was in Aiken recently for work-related travel and realized I forgot to pack something. I ran into the store about 10 minutes before it closed. The staff was really helpful in pointing me to what I needed and rang me up. Overall, I was in the store 5 minutes and got exactly what I needed. Prices are reasonable and they appear to have a good selection of items. I would come back if I am in town again.
This is the 4th time I have shopped here in the last year and it is the same EVERY time I shop here.
Found just what I was looking for. Lots of new merchandise.
Sales prices were decent but the store was filthy and it honestly looked like a giant flea market table. There was actual trash in the floor under some racks such as good wrappers. The clothing tables and racks were all mixed up and in the wrong places... Clothing on the floor and thrown across racks. ONLY ONE salesclerk (Delores) to be found in over half the store and her line was unbelievably long. I have to hand it to her, she was fast and courteous, moving at a breakneck speed. Some customers were rude and short with her and complaining about things that were not within her control. She never lost her cool or pleasant manner.
Belks is clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Big selections to choose from. Recommend to everyone
